KitchenAid Clearance at Sur La Table

Kitchenboy has learned from a little bird that there has been a disagreement between KitchenAid and the buyers at Sur La Table. This falling out means that Sur La Table will no longer carry KitchenAid appliances in their stores.

The surprising turn of events, based on what I understand is a minor issue, is great for those who love KitchenAid products.

Being a clearance sale, you won’t find brand new KitchenAid products listed for less anywhere, including Amazon. At the moment not every KitchenAid item is listed with clearance prices, but there are plenty of deals to be had for those who act swiftly. Once Sur La Table empties its warehouses, it is over, but it may take time for all KitchenAid to sell out. I suggest you head out to your nearest Sur La Table store or go to their website and take advantage of the great deals.

The KitchenAid Hand Mixers…9-speed $59.99. I like the hand mixers from KitchenAid because of the superior motors. They provide high RPMs, great speed variation, steady torque with relatively little noise or hand shake.

The 12-Cup Food Processor…$224.99. This high-end wide-mouth feeder tube model from KitchenAid is a real beast…incredible power. The accessories are amazing – 3 bowls, interchangeable disks, citrus attachment, egg whip, dough blade, cleaning tools and storage box.

The Immersion (Stick) Blender…$74.99. The immersion or stick blender from KitchenAid is one of the best on the market – variable speeds, very powerful and durable. I think only Viking makes a comparable model. This KitchenAid stick blender comes as a complete kit with 3-cup mini-chop, a whisk and blending glass with lid. If you want a versatile immersion blender, you can’t really do better than this one.

And what KitchenAid raid would be complete without the king of stand mixers. I don’t need to tell you all about how good these mixers are for the home cook. Yes, there are more powerful and even better mixers out there, but you can’t beat KitchenAid for the combination of style, price and quality.

I am fond of the 6 quart size, the Pro 600 series, for its great capacity, dough kneading and “do anything” capabilities.

As I said, there are more appliances and accessories on clearance than I listed here. Be aware that the inventory levels will vary between the website and the various store locations. Additionally, the number and type of items on clearance may vary with time and any remaining KitchenAid stuff may get further reductions, but I wouldn’t wait too long to get a deal.
